  Required Immunizations
by the Student Health Center

(full-time students)

Students are required to provide documentation of the following vaccinations on the Student Health Form prior to entrance to the University.

MMR Dose 1

 

MMR Dose 2

 

Tetanus Diphtheria

Within ten (10 years)

Polio

 

PPD/Tuberculosis Test

Within one (1) year of entrance to SFU for at-risk individuals

Hepatitis B Series

 

Meningitis Vaccine

Senate Bill 955 (2002) requires all students residing in university housing be vaccinated against meningococal disease.  Failure to comply with this law will result in denial of campus housing. If you have any questions regarding this information, please call the Student Health Center at (814) 472-3008.

Varicella2 doses or verification of disease

Immunizations Available at the Student Health Center

The following immunizations and additional services are available through the Student Health Center.  These services are above and beyond the standard services and therefore are subject to additional fees.  Payment must be received in full before the service will be completed.  Payment may be through cash, credit card or check made out to Saint Francis University.  Students must call the Student Health Center to register for a vaccine.  

Meningitis Vaccine / Menactra  $120
Hepatitis B Vaccine (3 dose series)  $  60 per dose
Hepatitis A (2 dose series)  $  50 per dose
Tetanus/Diphtheris/Pertussis (Adacel)  $  50
Measles/Mumps/Rubella  $  70 per dose
Varicella (Varivax) $115

Malaria Prophylaxis
  * Price for Chloroquine Phosphate 500 mg, 6 tablets.  Price will vary for other medications and/or longer than one week duration of travel.
