David Holsinger, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Holsinger is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.  He completed medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and completed a family practice residency at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown, PA.  Dr. Holsinger has a private practice in Ebensburg, PA.  He is certified as a Medical Review Officer and holds membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Cara K. Fox, DHSc, MPAS, PA-C
Director, Student Health Center

Dr. Fox, completed her bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Sciences from SFU, a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska, and a Doctorate in Health Sciences.  She served as a physician assistant in the U.S. Navy in primary care for five years.  After leaving the Navy, Dr. Fox worked in obstetrics and gynecology before joining the Student Health Center staff.  She is a member of the Naval Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Karen McCabe, RN, BSN

Ms. McCabe received her diploma in nursing through Conemaugh Hospital.  She completed her bachelor's degree in Nursing through the University of Pittsburgh.  She is a certified CPR Instructor through the American Heart Association and American Red Cross.  She has over 17 years of nuring experience and has been at Saint Francis University for over 10 years. Prior to coming to Saint Francis, she worked in a variety of settings, including Home Health, pediatrics, telemetry, and school nursing.
