Saint Francis University to host first Sign Day
The American Sign Language (ASL) Club at Saint Francis University will host its first Sign Day on Sunday, March 4, from 10am until 2pm in the John F. Kennedy Student Center.
The event is open to students in grades one through eight. Participants will learn the ASL alphabet, numbers, Pledge of Allegiance, and will also Jam in ASL to “Lean on Me” by Mitchel Musso. In addition, Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to learn the Girl Scout Pledge or Girl Scout Law in ASL, and will be on their way to earning a badge. Participants should bring a labeled bagged lunch.
