Academic Programs Offered Through 
Adult Degree & Continuing Studies

The Adult Degree & Continuing Studies office offers a Certificate of Business Administration along with Associate of Science degrees in Business Administration and Religious Education.  Bachelor of Science degrees can also be completed through continuing education in Accounting and Management, and work-experienced individuals with prior college-level course work may be eligible for degree completion towards a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Management and a Bachelor of Health Science with a Medical Laboratory Science Concentration.   The University also offers several special programs in conjunction with the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center, the Greater Johnstown Career & Technology Center, some health care institutions, secondary school districts, and the Southern Alleghenies Tech Prep Consortium.  Associate of Applied Science degrees can be obtained in Human Resources/ Computer Technology, Health Professions Technology, and Engineering/ Mechanical Technology.

Transitions in the Business Program

The business administration program at Saint Francis University allows adult learners to make seamless transitions throughout their educational journeys.  Individuals receiving a Certificate in Business Administration can easily move into an Associate of Science degree in business administration, a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in accounting, management or organizational leadership and ultimately into graduate programs in business administration or human resource.

The Department of Education offers a variety of certificate programs.  Saint Francis University offers graduate education courses toward a Master of Education degree, Master of Education/Leadership, Master of Education/Reading, Principal Certification, Special Education Supervisor Certification, Reading Specialist Certification, and Superintendent/IU Executive Director Letter of Eligibility.

Module II Classes
Module II classes are scheduled to begin on Saturday, March 3rd in State College, Loretto and online.  Spots are still available so register now!


Summer 2012 Registration
Registration for Summer 2012 will begin on March 19th for all Adult Degree and Continuing Studies students.  Traditional undergraduate students will be able to register beginning April 16th.  Remember that you need clearance from your advisor prior to registering through your my.francis page.
